Flibot

It is not an easy time for all of us now, because our whole being drills thought: “How it’s now in the Donbass?”

But each of us has his own front.

For me, it is education and science.

There for I was very pleased to realize that in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, there are many research teams and groups that are fighting for the victory.

Here is the most recent example.

In 2019 the Erasmus+ 561536-EPP-1-2015-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP project with the short name “Fablab” has been completed: (photo 1).

The purpose of the project is to give young people the opportunity to come up with something new, to embody this new thing in hardware, without leaving the walls of the university.

For example, this day the 14th  of  June 14, 2022, the student’s Gr. MI-01mn Shirshov Alex master’s thesis defense passed. This work was carried out in the FabLab-KPI laboratory, created in 2018. It started to be a creativity lab for the young people, and was located in one of the Mechanical Engineering Institute buildings.

As a result of this thesis, a really working device was created from parts and components that were purchased within the Erasmus + “Fablab” project. The work under the general name “FLIBot” was carried out at an innovative level and will be continued (photo 2):
